Printing / Packing / Shipping Disclaimer Guidelines

Order Acknowledgement and Processing

Orders must be received by 2pm (EST) for processing: otherwise, the order will process the following business day. All orders must be completed by the customer and approved by Tooters Promotions before production or shipping of order. This includes all production artwork, special packaging, inserts, and labeling materials.

Upon receipt of your acknowledgement and/or art proof, please sign and return the confirmation within 24 hours to avoid processing delays. Failure to do so may result in shipping delays and/or additional shipping fees, etc.

Electronic Art Requirements

Art must be production ready, defined as follows:

The art must be in layered, vectored format with all fonts converted to outlines.

A hardcopy of the art should be submitted with your Purchase Order.

Artwork can be accepted in the following formats: Adobe Illustrator – (.ai, .pdf) or .pdf files

Unsupported artwork will incur an art fee of $60 per hour to recreate. Recreation will be done to the best of our ability and may not be exact. Additional time may be required to complete the proof.

Proof delivery schedule will depend on the quality of the artwork submitted and any changes that need to be made to the artwork. Proofs are typically ready within 2 business days after receipt of the order, art file and payment information.

Email proof will be sent at no charge in a .pdf file format for approval. If a color proof is sent, please be advised that the colors are as close to the imprint color – not an exact PMS match.

All artwork received will be maxed out to our imprint area, per item, unless otherwise specified.

1st proof and 1st proof revision are done at no charge. After that there will be a $20 revision fee per revision.

 

Registration of Multiple Color Artwork

Artwork with a tight registration must be approved by our Production Manager. Avoid very fine lines both in type and illustrations.

Industry standard is up to 1/16” depending on the size and shape of the item being printed. This tolerance is considered acceptable and meets industry standard. Tighter registration requirements will be at the discretion of Tooters Promotions.

Colors are matched as close as possible to the PMS Book. Due to the material and ink manufacturer differences, there may be slight variances, we make every effort to get as close to the PMS color as possible.

Printing over a seam may distort the image on the item. We make every effort to prevent this, but occasionally it may occur.

Production Time

Standard production time is 10 – 14 business days after the receipt of your Purchase Order, Art file and payment information. Any order changes (Qty, art, color, etc.) will affect the production date.

Cancellation Policy

Orders cancelled prior to production will incur a $25 fee. Orders cancelled during production will be charged for the work completed at the time of the cancellation plus a $25 cancellation fee.

Rush Services

Rush services are available on a case-by-case basis. Rush fees will apply. Production time will not begin until your Purchase Order, Approved art proof and Payment Information is received. Contact your Sales Representative for more information.

Artwork must be production ready.

Regular Case Packs and quantities only. No broken or less than cases. No special packaging or labeling.

Subject to available inventory.

Production begins after approval of art proof.

Applicable Charges

Screen / Plate Charges – One time $30 fee per color, per logo.

Multiple color or location imprint charges will vary depending on the item and quantity ordered. Contact your Sales Representative for more information.

Broken Box Fee

Any item ordered outside the standard box count and/or color combination, will be charged a broken box fee of $10 per case, per color. I.e., your order is for 1 case of Shot Tubes, ½ yellow and ½ orange, there will be two broken box fees of $10 each totaling $20

Special Packing Fees

If you require special packaging (individually boxed, 12 per box, 100 per box, etc.) additional charges will apply. These charges will be calculated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact your Sales Representative for more information.

Drop Ship Fees

Any order that requires shipping to more than one address will be charged $5 for each additional address.

Box Labeling Fee

A special labeling fee will apply to orders that require special labeling.

  • Customer provided labels will incur a charge of $.50 per label for application
  • Tooters Promotions provided labels will incur a charge of $1 per label

Preproduction Samples

A preproduction sample of a 1 color 1 location imprinted item can be requested for a charge of $125. Two samples will be produced and shipped for approval. Upon approval, the $30 screen/plate charged will be waived from the order. Multiple color or location preproduction samples may incur additional screen/plate charges. Quality Issues

Quality issues or concerns must be reported to your Sales Representative within 5 business days after receipt of your order. Tooters Promotions requires written notice of damaged or missing items. Photos are suggested to assist in damage or loss claim filing. Tooters Promotions will determine the best solution on a case-by-case basis. Liability shall not exceed cost of the product.

Copyright / Trademarks

Tooters Promotions assumes that the artwork submitted for use in printing an order was submitted in full compliance with all laws governing trademarks, copyrights, etc. Purchasers, by placing the order agree to hold Tooters Promotions harmless from any and all liabilities, damages, costs and/or sale & distribution to purchaser.

 

Restocking Fees

The Customer will be charged a Restocking Fee of 15% of the value of goods for any unopened Products in original condition. The Customer will be charged an Inspection and Repacking Fee of 20% of the value of goods for any open box items or items not in their original condition. The Customer will assume responsibility for all return shipping charges and insurance if needed. RMA number will be required prior to return of products.

 

Third Party Shipping Handling Fees

Handling charges will apply for Third Party shipping requests. Common Carrier UPS / FedEx Handling charge: $5 net per shipment. LTL Palletized Shipment Handling Charge: $15 per shipment. In addition, Pallet charges of $10 per pallet will apply.
